PID Tuning Software and Training at ACHEMA conference

PiControl presented a paper on PID tuning software, PID tuning training, closed-loop transfer function system identification and advanced process control at the ACHEMA conference in Frankfurt.

The paper presentation was attended by over 50 process control engineers and process control managers.

Audience was impressed by PiControl COLUMBO software ability to identify open-loop transfer functions using completely closed-loop data without step tests.

Many questions were asked regarding PiControl’s new algorithm in PITOPS for multivariable system identification and then PID tuning improvements that produces results superior to Ziegler Nichols, IMC (internal model control), Cohen Coon and Lambda PID tuning methods.
